Selah

Your reflections are yours. Selah is built to keep them private.

Selah has no user account and no server of its own. Your writing lives on your device and in your own private iCloud — it is never sent to us.

What Selah stores

Your reflections, prayers, and which days you have completed are stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud, so they follow you across your devices and survive a new phone. Because there is no account and no server, this information is never transmitted to Selah or its developer.

What Selah does not do

Selah contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. We do not build a profile of you.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, Selah schedules a local notification on your device. Nothing about it leaves your phone.

Photos

Saving a wallpaper writes an image to your photo library, and only when you tap Save. Selah cannot read or access the photos already in your library.

iCloud

If you are signed into iCloud, your reflections and prayers are stored in your private iCloud database, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can remove this data at any time by deleting it in the app or by managing your iCloud storage.

Subscriptions

Selah is a paid subscription app. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; Selah never sees your payment details. Subscription management is done in your Apple account settings.

Children

Selah is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
